NEW DELHI: An Intelligence Bureau officer had to get five stitches on his head after he was attacked by three youths near his house in south Delhi's Andrews Ganj. The accused have been arrested.
Pankaj Kumar was coming back from office when the incident occurred. Close to his house, a crowd had gathered on the road and a few men were quarelling with a woman. A PCR van was also stationed nearby.

Kumar asked some of the men to move aside to let his car pass through, but none of them responded. He then got down from his car and finding one of his neighbours there, asked him why the crowd had gathered.
"While talking to him, I saw one of the youths in the crowd recording the argument. He then went on to film us. When I told him not to, he disappeared into the crowd," Kumar said.
The youth came back within minutes with two others and thrashed Kumar with bamboo sticks, police said. He was rushed to ahospital and had to get five stitches on his head. The accused were identified as Sankar, Arjun and Pankaj.
